The signs could hardly be better: Frau Holle has already covered the mountain world around Lech and Oberlech with a layer of snow, and low temperatures and a promising forecast are predicting wintry conditions for the coming days and weeks. And yet, the anticipation of the annual skiing pleasure and culinary delights for which Lech-Zürs is after all world-famous is somewhat dampened, as even the pandemic does not stop at the gates of Lech.
First of all, we would like to inform you all that we are doing well, that we are healthy and wish you the best of health. We take this topic very seriously, as health – even before fresh powder snow slopes on fine weather days – must have the highest priority.
As Austria is still in a lockdown until early December 2020, the start of the winter season was postponed to 17 December 2020.
In order to prevent the virus from spreading, special measures have been taken by Lech Zürs and the ski lift operators. In addition, an Covid19 insurance is available to you, with which you will be reimbursed the costs of a holiday not taken in the event of cancellation due to Covid illness.

As usual, the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene await you in our house. Nevertheless, it is important to protect other guests and employees from infection by conscious behaviour with measures recommended by the authorities; these include wearing a mouth-and-nose protection, keeping a distance and of course washing your hands regularly.
If the holiday cannot be taken despite all measures, we have made the cancellation conditions more flexible for you:
